scientific hairdressers

On the day of the visit to the center, in the lounge area, the 'scientific hairdressers' (as they are called in L'Oréal) were testing with Asian volunteers a physical dye that, unlike chemists, does not penetrate the hair. Its particles have optical properties that are deposited on the hair and increase its brightness or provide reflections with different shades.

L'Oréal invests 750 million euros a year to ID (Princess Hair) and one third of this amount goes specifically to hair research, explains Patricia Pinau, scientific spokesperson for the company.
